Anthony Broad has over 20 years of progressive leadership roles in accounting, finance, operations, strategic planning and business development. He has extensive experience with venture capital backed companies as CFO and COO in all phases of company growth. Anthony has managed the finance and administration functions of a number of start-ups and early stage companies, most recently as the Controller of Accumetrics, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of blood diagnostic products. Prior to this, he was Director of Operations with TriLink Biotechnologies and previous to that he was Vice President, Finance & Administration with Novex, the leading supplier of gel electrophoresis products to the life sciences research market, until its acquisition by Invitrogen in 1999, where he served as Director of International Finance & Treasury. Earlier in his career, Anthony has held positions with a number of Fortune 500 companies, including FMC, Castle & Cooke (Dole Food Company) and ARCO. Anthony holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago. |
